He was my Uncle Bob, and I’ll always remember him smiling and laughing. He was a story teller like his Mother Kathryn. He was a great man, that was loved by his family. I’ll miss him always.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with Robert comfort the family today and always and may God bless and keep your family strong. (Psalm 83:18)

The few times I met Robert, the word that immediately comes to mind is ' Gentleman ' My son Eric was in his company much more than I was and it's heart-warming to hear Eric refer to him as Grandpa Robert or Grandpa Luby. Our prayers to all those whose lives he touched throughout his life.

I am greatly saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I met Bob when he came in to buy hearing aids from us and we became fast friends. I looked forward to his visits/appointment as we would sit in the back of the office and catch up. He spoke of you all and was so proud. He often told me stories of his time at the beach house making fun of the phrase "down the shore". He would say, "When I lived in Brooklyn, I went to the beach. Now that I live in Jersey, I go down the shore.". Please know I will be keeping you all in my prayers. I will miss him terribly. I hope he's not taking any wooden nickels...

Bob was truly the last of the 'gentle'men of the 47 Club. We missed him at the last reunion this September. He called to say how disappointed he was that he could not make it, and 'sorta' mentioned congestive heart failure. We will miss him in more ways than we now can imagine. Bill Hill
