Robert Macaluso

In the late 70´s, "Big Mac" was my vice-principal at Parkway Junior High School. Back in those days, I spent a lot of time in his office! He always played the tough guy, but as the vice-principal, that was his job. Truly, he had a heart of gold, was fair, and loved "his kids". I still think of him 50+ years later. May he rest in eternal peace.

I am so sad to finally find out that Bob has passed. We were good friends until I moved in 2010. I stopped hearing from him a year or so ago and kept searching for any word of him. I have wonderful memories of the nice times we shared He loved his family, and San Francisco. I am glad he passed peacefully. With sincere condolences, Linda Miller, Fairfield, CA

Dear Kevin and Mairin, So sorry to read about the passing of your dad, Bob. Memories of your mom, Barbara, and your dad go back so many years. They were such good San Francisco memories. Bob Macaluso was my 8th and 9th grade basketball coach! Very instrumental in my love of sports and school in general. Terrific man I consider a friend and mentor! He will remembered dearly!

Great friend and schoolmate of the Class of '55. That smile says it all.
