Not sure what to say?

I am the only survivor of Costancia Manfredi-Montoya.
I did not know that Robert as we had known him for years had passed. First, he was the son of "Pete" my mothers dear friend who we knew as a friend in our favorite store Paris Shoes; Robert I came to know when he recommended me for a teaching position at TVI(now CNM) so many, many years ago. Every time I met Robert he knew how to rekindle old acquaintances
he never forgot my name and always asked for my mother, the last time I...

I just ran across this memorial to Robert "Bobby". I am the youngest son of Amerigo Giannini of Hammond, IN. My father was very close to Pete and all of his children. Dad lived in Albuquerque in the mid to late 1930's where he met my Mother, Helen Richards Giannini. They married in 1942. I recall meeting Robert in Albuquerque when I was a teenager, on the golf course at Albuquerque, CC. There, he and my Dad enjoyed a round of golf...I pulled the cart,...as they played their favorite...

My most heartfelt condolences for your family. I grew up with the Matteucci family in the 60's. My first job ever was as a part-time cashier in the downtown store with Pete and Louis Matteucci while studying at UNM. They, together with Marge and Dolly, taught me the importance of doing a job well and doing it right. When the Winrock store opened, and stayed open on Friday night until 9pm, I took on extra hours with Bobby and learned what merchandising and promoting were all about. He...

Bobby:

I'm deeply saddened that you're gone. We were great friends at AHS and UNM and I feel so fortunate that we reconnected just a few years ago. You left a great legacy in your family and your good works. God Bless you.

My sincere condolences for your loss. Bobby was a great man and I am better for having known him. I may have forgotten where the steakhouse was (Estancia?), but I know I will never forget the bus ride there and back for Bob Jr's senior party. I laughed the whole way! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Francesca - I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Peace to you and your family.

Sincerely, (your old neighbor) Lynn Hooley

Our prayers Mary to you and your family. He was such a wonderful man !

It has been many years since I knew Bobby. However, he was the kind of person you don't forget. An outstanding leader at UNM, a very successful business man and a great friend. My most sincere condolences to the family and friends. I will never forget Bobby.

Condolences to the Matteucci family. Bobby
will be missed by so many. May he rest in
peace. From your neighbors for many years.
