SPRINGFIELD, IL - Robert E. "Bob" Maxey, 90, of Springfield, Ill., died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at St. John's Hospice in Springfield.

My deep sympathy to the Maxey family. Bob was a wonderful man and a true professional in the printing business. His assistance and attention to detail made my job at the Sangamon County Election Office easy and made elections error free. I always had the highest regard for his advice and friendship.
