Bullet Bob as we called Robert on the job, was the best supervisor we ever had. So sad when I heard of his passing. Never to be forgotten.

Robert Mayforth was my Father. There was never a day in my life I was not proud to be his daughter. He was fiercely loyal and dedicated to his family, job and country. He retired from the New Jersey Transit Police Department after 30 years of service as Lieutenant Detective. He was married to my Mother, Anne, for 64 years until her death in 1998. He was her caretaker for 10 years after she suffered a debilitating stroke which paralyzed her. He was the best Father I could imagine. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life.

Robert will be missed by everyone that knew him. Robert was the best of the best as a Lt. in the police Dept. from the Lehigh Valley Railroad on up through N.J. Transit. Rest in peace. The Marines are waiting at the gate to salute you.
