I never had the opportunity to meet Bob, but he was my 2nd cousin. I remember my father speaking of Bob's father.

Good man, solid Oakdale citizen. Bought my first car from him at Haidlens. Continued to run across him in everyday life as I grew up. Another good one gone. My condolences Linda.

I always enjoyed talking to Bob when we encountered each other. I got to know him better when I transferred to Oakdale Rotary after retirement. Among his possessions, the family should find an old stock certificate from Marchetti Motors. Except for the name it had no value so I had it framed, donated it to Rotary with instructions to have him donate $50 for it.
