Please free to contact me about Bob’s early life in Atlanta in the 1950’s. We had fun together, especially learning to fly!

Bob Mohan, John Dayl, Earl Baldwin, Barry Young and others were the reason I became interested in talk radio in Phoenix in the late '80's. I was a teenager driving a beat up van for work, and thankfully it only had an AM radio, for that is how I first heard Bob's show. KFYI was new to the scene, but he had me the first time I heard "Blow Out The Phones", a segment I rarely missed. I've often wished to hear him as a guest host fill-in for someone on vacation. Husband Steve and I always enjoyed listening to Bob on KFYI. His segment, "Blow Out The Phones" was especially a treat. He was the real deal. We also had the honor of meeting him at a charity event. RIP, Mr. Mohan.

After their move to Arizona our relationship dwindled to occasional Christmas cards and a sudden out of the blue phone call from Bob after we moved to Texas in 1995.
About Bob I would say that he was...

Bob Mohan, my brother-in-law, a true joy to me and my family. When I think of Bob, I smile, because of his quick and clever wit which he shared so easily with me and others. I was a big fan of Bob's radio program in Atlanta; not just because we were related, but because I appreciated how respectful he was to all of his listeners who called on the air to talk with Bob or express their opinion. Bob didn't always agree with his listener's comments, but he treated them with dignity. For...
