Not sure what to say?

Bob, you made ever moment an experience filled with laughter and enthusiasm. I miss that. I miss you. Jana

Our beautiful daughter, Robbin Hampson Ottman has joined you in Heaven on Valentines Day 2019. In a way it seems the best day to join you along with the Lord, the day of Love. Not only because she was our much loved daughter and you the wonderful surrogate son and grandson to our family but also because the two of you were great pals growing up in Spring Beach. The two of you shared the aspects of a rocky childhood that each of you detoured around to become the well rounded human beings...

I was searching for Bob because I hadn't heard from him in a while and came across his obituary. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing, and my prayers are with all who loved him. We talked a lot about spiritual matters and he was always so inspiring and encouraging. God bless you Bob.

I met Bob at East Park in the summer of 2002, but at once, Bob felt like a lifelong friend. We shared our stories and the blessings of our children, along with summer time at the pool. I soon realized he was not just mine, he was everybody's friend. What a truly great guy. I will miss Bob.

I was searching for Bob or Karen Murphy and fell on the obituary. I knew Bob ages ago when I lived next door to his sister Karen. He tried to teach my son Alex to play LaCrosse. He was always so positive. It sounds like he had a great life that ended too soon. My heart goes out to all who loved him. Maryellen K. LaJeunesse [email protected]

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

It is hard to believe we won't be able to run into Bob and his three daughters at the pool next summer. He always loved to take them there and spend time with them in general. We will miss Bob, his smile and his ability to make us laugh. Rest in peace.

What an amazing day it was to sit in an over crowded church and hear everyone there say that Bob was THEIR best friend! He was certainly MY best friend. I met Bob in 1982 my first week at Ripon, and from that moment he was my best friend. He taught me valuable skills and life lessons; such as how to catch fish on Big Lake, how to skip classes to gain another level in Donkey Kong and to appreciate his favorite music group "Little Feat."

He was an amazing friend. He was an...

As next door neighbors, we spent a lot of time with Bob and his family over the years. Bob enjoyed the company of others, and he was a whiz in the kitchen! He loved cooking...and it was always a treat to "break bread" (as he would say) with him and his family. We attended the memorial service yesterday, and the eulogies were incredibly touching and heartfelt. It was a really lovely remembrance of a man who was devoted, loving father and a friend to many. His time came too early. His positive...
