Not sure what to say?

May God Shine His Face upon you, Uncle Robert, as you rest in peace. Thank you for all you gave of yourself to so many others. We love you.

We were so sad to hear of Robert's passing. Since we live in NJ, we hadn't seen Robert for many years. At Tom and Michelle's wedding, we had the opportunity be become reacquainted. We so enjoyed visiting with him and Anne that day. Afterwards we corresponded via e-mail and regular mail. We were both interested in genealogy and shared some family tree information. He also sent me a very interesting letter along with pictures from one of his recent trips. He had a great sense of humor and...

Marie and Family,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers from the moment I heard that Robert was so ill. We know that he is in a better place, but he will be missed by all who knew him. I will always remember his handsome face with that radiant smile. We had a wonderful visit with him and Anne at Tom's wedding in Virginia, it was really a family reunion for many of us.
You will continue to be in my prayers. Love to all, Nancy

I will always remember Bob with a smile on his face, I don't think I ever saw him when he did not have one! And he must have an even larger one now in the presence of God!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

May the certainties and comfort of your faith sustain you in this difficult period of transition. May the memories of your time together be ever precious.
Bob's ready smile and infectious good humor contributed to making our time at Exxon pass pleasantly and productively.

He was the wind beneath my wings...

I was saddened to learn of Bob's passing, he was a great guy always laughing at his own jokes. I had the privelidge of working with him when I was based in Houston for a few years. He will be sorely missed by everyone that came into contact with him.

Bob was one of those few people who always saw the bright side and could communicate that feeling to you. I enjoyed every minute I had the privledge of working with him. He touched so many of us in a positive way and he is deeply missed.

Dear Marie,
I worked with Bob for several years until his retirement from Exxon. He had a wonderful, lively personality, and always had something interesting or funny to say. He was the best instructor I ever had, and a favorite among his colleagues.

Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Sincerely,
Carol Baker
