I am so sorry to read of Robert's passing. We arrived at East Chicago Washington High School and became lifelong friends. He worked at Inland Steel and I, on the East Chicago Police Department. I would see him often while I was on patrol, going or coming from work, and we would both start laughing even before we said a word. I lost track of my friend (which I regret) after I retired and moved. Robert was certainly a great friend, a good man, whom I will truly miss. ...
