Robert Pennell Obituary
Robert Wayne Pennell passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack at the age of 66 years. He was born March 30, 1947. Robert is survived by his loving wife Ngaire; and his sons, Stephen (Carly Logan) and Russell (Kelly Fujibayashi) as well as his very special grandchildren, Trystan, Kaiya and Makoto.
Memorial services will be held for Robert at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 280, Vedder Crossing on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
If any so desire, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hospice Society.

Bob was one of those rare guys who would do anything to help a person out. I've enjoyed his good humour company, great neighbour and friend. Will be missed by many.

We were very sad that Bob had passed before we came out to the reunion. Bob was one of the 7 sapper-apps that came to Chilliwack in 1963. Glad that Diane got you two guys together. It was good to see you Ngaire

My deepest condolences to Nari and family on Bob's passing. It was a pleasure to work with him in the CE Det in Van in the early 90s. He once told me not to worry about my daughters, once they were old enough they'd want to find me. One did.

Stephen and I have many good memories of Bob. I so enjoyed working with him at CE in Chilliwack in the mid 80's. I still have his receipe for bread and I used it last summer to teach my niece how to make bread. We are so sorry for your loss, Bob will be missed.
