Robert Presbie

Bobby was my cousin. His mother, Helen Presbie, was my godmother. We grew up in a close family in Waterbury,Ct., but he entered the Army while I was still quite young. I remember Vera & the children many years ago. My condolences to Tihan, Adrienne and Annelle.

My name is Dennis Nolan. I shared a graduate student office with Bob and Berline Taylor at Newcomb College (Tulane) 1961-63. We had occasional correspondence for a few years after receiving our degrees when I was on the faculty at Ohio State, and Bob was faculty first at Marshall then SUNY New Paltz. I was saddened to learn of Berline's passing not long ago, and equally so for Bob.

To Roberts Family. My name is Wayne Black and I worked with Robert at the Armed Forces Examining Station in New Orleans at the Custom House on Canal Street. Robert was one of the first people I met there. As I reported I had no place to stay so I roomed with Robert before going to a boarding house. He was friendly and humorous in a strange was.
