Not sure what to say?

I extend to Dr. Quinn's family my sincere compassion for your loss. He had a great positive impact in so many people's lives, as witnessed in these sharing pages. I worked closely with him early in my career at the original acute rehab unit on Frederick street; Dr. Quinn was an excellent team leader, mentor, and motivator- his positive regard and outlook was contagious. As one of my managers, he genuinely listened to concerns I brought up and his suggestions were always constructive. ...

I was an RN at Dominican Hospital and had the pleasure and privilege to work in ARU with Dr. Quinn for 5 years. He was a very good doctor and teacher, extremely patient and good to the patients, family, and staff. I am greatly saddened to hear of his passing. My sympathy is with his family and friends.

I am very sad to hear that rob died. He was a patient of mine and I always enjoyed seeing him and talking about my old neighborhood. My wife, Lynda, was a patient of his and he was an excellent physician. Death can really cheat the living; our memories of our favorite people remain strong.

I was a patient of Dr. Quinn for many years. He was always patient, kind, humorous and helpful. I always felt listened to and cared for by him. I know he is a great loss to the medical field and Santa Cruz. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

My condolences to the Quinn family, Mike , and friends .

We are deeply saddened to learn about Rob´s death. We will always remember him, especially his incredible sense of humour. His nose saved our cottage while we were in medical school. This is a terrible loss. Our deepest condolences to Polly and the Quinn family. Jean and Mark

We were all blessed to have spent time with Robert and his family. I was fortunate to spend time with him throughout grade school and highs school. It was always great to spend time with Robert and he is so missed by so many. Sincere condolences from my family to the Quinns.

Dr. Quinn was a regular speaker at our Cabrillo College Stroke Center events and a treasured MD and ally to many of our students over the years. His kindness, warmth, intelligence, and encouragement to our students gave them so much hope after their acquired disabilities. Sending love to his family. He will be thought of with the utmost respect and admiration always here at the Stroke Center and his memory will continue to guide us in how we work with our students.

As I read all the memories that people have of Rob I think of a couple of things - he was crazy smart, a fierce competitor and funny, but the most important thing was he was caring. Even when I didn't talk to him for years when we came together it was as if we had seen each other yesterday. He genuinely wanted to hear about how you were, how your family was. He will be dearly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
