Not sure what to say?

Beached from fishing but still having fun (c. 1995)

Dear family of Bob,
We are going through family photos and I came across one taken of Bob with my son, Evan, during one of our fishing trips with Bob and Robie back in the 1990s (posted). Always fun, even after an 8-hour drive to Oswego and (all too often) not getting out on the water due to weather conditions. I'm sorry to know that I can't reminisce about those adventures in person with Bob, who was a Fleet colleague of mine, but will always remember him fondly. Richard Staples

Marge,

Sincere sympathy to you and your family. It's hard to imagine the loss you must feel. Bob was a gentleman, a positive role model, and a true leader. I had the privilege of working with him for many years at Oneida National Bank. The lessons learned from him continue to influence me to this day. Every community Bob touched is a far better place today because of his work. May he rest in peace.

BOB RANGER was alwsys a friendly giant of a man. Whether crossing pathways in the WW Post Office or when he attended his Board of Directors meeting at New York Central Mutual, anyone could count on Bob for a friendly greeting. What a wonderful image to leave our world.

One of my favorite pictures of Dad.

Marge,

Many blessings as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death. May God be your comforter and strength in the days to come. I will keep you in prayer as you grieve.

Marge and family - I'm so sad to hear of Bob's passing. I saw and had opportunity to work with him back at Norstar and very recently on our projects. He was a wonderful, energetic man and I truly enjoyed his company in all respects over the years. As a friend or family member, I know it is always too soon, but as a person of faith, it is exactly the right time. God bless you and your family during this difficult period.

so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I had the opportunity and the honor to work for him in Branch Administration. What a great guy......! Marge, thinking of you and family..... he was a pleasure to know. One of the nicest men I knew

As a banker and a good citizen, Bob was a friend of the community in promoting jobs and business growth. He was a pleasure to know and to work with. In his day, he was also a very good ball player! May God bless him and condolences to his family.

This was during the trip we made last March. I just love this picture! ❤
