Colonel Reid had a unique talent from which all of his friends and associates benefited on special occasions - his barbeques were the greatest..! Every year since 1986 at the annual ROA Chapter Six BBQ (Presidio Yacht Club Fort Baker) he would tirelessly and cheerfully grill the steaks and brats over the hot coals, while the rest of us enjoyed the fruits of his labor.
