Colonel Reid had a unique talent from which all of his friends and associates benefited on special occasions - his barbeques were the greatest..! Every year since 1986 at the annual ROA Chapter Six BBQ (Presidio Yacht Club Fort Baker) he would tirelessly and cheerfully grill the steaks and brats over the hot coals, while the rest of us enjoyed the fruits of his labor. His congenial personality made him welcome at social events not only at the military clubs but at the homes of his friends and associates. Colonel Reid - thank you for your long and faithful military to our country. You have rightfully earned the eternal rest to which you are entitled. Very respectfully, George Barantseff
