Robert Preston Rhodes

I don't know what possed me to look up Mr. Rhodes. He was one of my favorite teachers at Rosepark Middle School decades ago, no, he was my very favorite teacher of all time. I wish I could have told him that.

Coach Rhodes was the best coach and mentor at Whites Creek. He will be greatly missed. Praying for his family during this difficult time.

R.I.P. Coach Preston, you were one of the great ones, it was an honor to have been one of your players.

Coach Rhodes was one of the nicest man I've ever met. He taught me in middle school and Coached my kids as well. I'm so glad I was blessed enough to have had someone so special in my life all these years. He ALWAYS HAD A SMILE on his face and always greeted you with a hug and handshake... I loved this man. he will be missed!

To the family of Preston Rhodes: May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief during this time of great loss.

Coach Rhodes (as he is fondly remembered by his players, students and others who knew him) was always a joy to behold. My first encounter with him was at TSU basketball games "helping" Coach Ed Martin coach the Tiger Basketball teams, except Coach Rhodes was coaching from the sidelines-so animated and so into the game. Coaching and caring for the players was one of the joys of his life. To Ms. Blanch, Chris and the rest of his family, you have my sincere prayers and condolences.

He was a friend from the very first moment I met him...There won't be any more "guides" like Preston...We all mourn this loss...Our prayers and thoughts are with the family...
