Not sure what to say?

As the months and yrs have passed like 20ish, and we have returned to life's adventures . You and your family are always in my thoughts. Always sending hugs and blessings their way. Of course you know this already, I talk to you often. I Miss your presence my life, miss knowing that you are out there doing your thing, raising and loving your family. Growing into the best man you could become. Knowing that you were out there to pop in and say hi and grab a hug and catch up. It was a truly a...

But they were earmarked for Officers or High ranking Sergeants. But it would be our lucky day and...

I just ran across this not long ago when I was looking for old friends. I am so sorry for your loss even this long after. I hadn't seen Bobby since back in 7th grade before I moved. He always made me smile and was a great person. RIP Bobby

Seven years later I still see CPL Roberts face as I held him in my arms on the way to the Aid Station on BIAP. My soldiers and I were first on scene and I loaded CPL Roberts in the back of my HMMWV and rode with him on that cold November night giving him whatver comfort I could offer. I carried his body into the Aid Station and laid him on a gurney, gently and with the utmost of respect as I am a former Cav Scout myself. I then went back to my building on BIAP and cried. I still do today....
