Gretchen I am so sad about this news. I have been searching for quite a long time about this remarkable couple. Deep sadness to know about Bob´s death.

I considered Bob to be one of my best friends. In many ways he was a giant of a man. His research and published articles will be revered by the medical community for many years to come. I have a lasting impression of him sitting in the passenger seat of my convertible on October 23 this year. He had his baseball cap on and seemed to enjoy the sun and breeze as we drove to his last wine event with the Fine Winos Group that he founded. I will miss him like crazy. Gretchen, I am so sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. He was a good man and didn't deserve this horrible sickness. I will be thinking of you and your family and wishing you strength and friendship during this difficult time.
