i just found out about bobs death yesterday. im schocked and deeply saddened.he was my "big brother" in college.. We had many good times together. We had lunch in nyc on aug.11,08. May he rest in heaven,

Dear Mary and Family,

It has taken some time for us to be able to express our love and condolences. We were so very saddened to hear of Bobby's passing. He was a great mentor, a true and wonderful friend, but most especially a brother. We have fond memories of your meeting and marrying, the children growing up and SO MANY FUN times! Bobby will be missed by all of our family.

It is always sad when a friend passes but it is especially so when he was a boyhood friend. "Bugs", as he was affectionately called by those with whom he grew up with in Pittsburgh, was also a schoolmate at Central Catholic and St. Francis as well my a fraternity brother. Unfortunately we had not seem each other since the early '60 when we both left Pgh eventually settling on opposite coasts. As my memories of "Bugs" (don't think I ever called him Bob) go back nearly 60 yrs I can still...

Mary, Bob was a teammate on the 58 Quantico Football team. I will miss visiting with him at our Quantico Athletes reunions. Gayle and I send our condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
