Not sure what to say?

November has always been a month of contrasts in our family. . .family birthdays and anniversaries of family members' deaths. It seems altogether fitting that a beloved friend's yahrzeit has come around in November as well. "Rosie" will always bring a smile to my face. I am thankful for all the laughter, intellectual banter, high school adventures and challenges we shared. We always had the ability to pick up as if we had never been apart. He was truly one of the good guys.

The obituary says it all. He was a truly great person. Was honored to know him from law school and through ACLU work together.

Dear Anne and others who loved Bob - I am sorry to not have been able to join you to mourn Bob. His memory is a blessing to me. He embodied all that was special about Heller Ehrman: brilliance, commitment to service, compassion, a dash of humility, drive, elegant prose, humor. As my memories of that time fade, moments that remain vivid are when Bob advised me, supported me, grieved with me, or gave me a gentle, needed, verbal, whack in the head. His leadership style of valuing people and...

I first met Bob in 1971 when he came to Corpus Christi College , Oxford , as a Rhodes Scholar and where we both were studying Politics , Philosophy and Economics . We became friends and I think both of us learned from the other about our two countries ( England and the USA ). After we graduated from Corpus , I travelled to the US and Bob , who was just starting at Harvard Law School , was my tour guide while I was in the Boston area . We lost touch until 1989 ( except via college updates...

Grove of 100 Memorial Trees

Bob aka "Bobba Rosie" - I worked with Bob as a senior paralegal at Heller. I will always treasures the random chats about life; the unending supply of book recommendations; and your wonderful sense of irreverence. My deepest, deepest condolences to the family.

I first met Bob (Rosie) the first week of junior high school in the cafeteria lunch line. We were best friends through high school. We shared our adolescent years and everything that went with it. He was a lot of fun to be around. I will always have fond memories of those times we shared. Randy Price

My condolences to Anne and the family. Bob was not only a great lawyer but a terrific human being. Kit Kaufman

Rosie was the dearest of friends with my late husband Lynn in Terre Haute that continued while they attended GWU together. While i am not the keeper of those memories, i knew him to be a kind, caring brilliant man with unlimited curiosity and intelligence. He will be missed and on behalf of the Stelle family, all of whom loved and respected him, we send warm and caring sympathy to the Rosenfeld family.
