Not sure what to say?

I remember Dr. Rosenthal when he first arrived at University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He was cut from a different cloth than most instructors. Down to earth, humble and kind. I thank him for his mentorship. May his memory be a blessing David A. Cohen, DVM. Class of 1981

Dear Bobbie and family, We remember you and Bob often in Falls Church, Virginia. I fondly recall many childhood adventures with Bob on Buffalo's west side and how wonderful it was to reconnect with him in Northern Virginia many decades afterward. He was a great man, a good friend, and is sorely missed in our hearts. We hope that you and your family are well. love, Young and Chuck Hobbie Falls Church, VA

Dear Bobbie,
May your dear Bob Rest In Peace and may you forever hold tight your treasured memories. Sending our hugs and love always.
Please stay safe and stay well. ❤❤

Bobbie, Sam and Leah,
I still reflect back on the great days I enjoyed when at UW-Madison SVM, and Bob was such a part of that. I was always amazed by his many interests (and talents!): banjo, fiddle, line dancing, fly fishing and so on. And his devotion to family and his patients and clients. Was always good/fun to reconnect whether on the phone or at a meeting.
Hope you are doing well.

Dear Rosenthal family,
We met Dr. Rosenthal last September when our dog Stella was diagnosed with cancer and began chemo treatment. His calm, comforting demeanor and gentle way of explaining complicated issues have made the experience much more bearable and less stressful. He will be missed, and we send our sincere thanks for his help, and deepest condolences to you.

Dr Rosenthal helped us with an onco case years ago- he was great! I was able to manage my case better with his advice. Sincere condolences to his family

Dr Rosenthal was an exceptional mentor to me at UW-Madison. He was a great help negotiating the challenges of being in the charter class. In clinics, his guidance was always given with kindness and humor. My deepest sympathies to his dear family and friends. The world has lost a great man. Beth Mayer DVM UW-Madison, 1987

PPS. And remembering the canoe trip with buddies to
Algonquin in the Baltimore days! What rugged guys!

ps How could we forget John making rounds with Bob @ U of Illinois. I think he grabbed the bull by the nose to do the ophthalmic check! That bull was probably one of John's best patients!
