Not sure what to say?

One of my favorite teachers at Encinal High School. He was kind and inspiring to his students. Wendy D.

To Whom It May Concern, I am Ben Yee, a student of Mr. Roark at Encinal High School in the early´ 70´s. I was able to have a conversation with Mr. Ruark a couple years before he passed. On the lark, I looked up your phone number and called and he happened to answer and I was honored to have him remember who I was. I told him that he changed my life While I was in his class and a member of his Art Club. I´m writing today because of him and to honor his memory I am flying to Amsterdam to see...

I loved being in his class, very cool teacher. I remember in 83 or 84 Bob Simmons used to make big Clay wormlike figures. I still have a art piece I made in his class by my bedside. Mr Rourke said it shouldn´t have survived the Kilm. RIP good man.

I think of you when I hear classical music. I guess you used to play it in your studio? I don’t quite remember. But I definitely think of you. ❤❤❤❤❤

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Rpbert. Betty and four children were my longest known friends in Alameda. I as a gransplant from Michigan and Betty & Robert from Kentucky became fast friends readily. We vacationed together, the kids made jewelry with him and their house was always open and inviting to everyone who came. His renovations of the house was exauisite and a pleasure to be in. He was an artist in all things that he did. Never to be forgotten

My Condolences go out to the family and friends. May God of all comfort give you peace and strength during this difficult time (psalm 29:11).

My Dad was a very kind man. So thoughtful, gentle and loving. I will forever miss him. He left us with a big piece of my heart❤

Robert was a kind and gentle soul. I will remember him as a talented and unique artist. Spending Christmas with him and the family was always a blessing to me. I remember him always taking beautiful family photos. He was very thoughtful...never leaving anyone out. While his sudden passing is sad, what a great way to go out! His artwork and his art show live on as a legacy of beauty in nature. Well done sir. Xoxoxo
