Today I wanted to try and compile a list of all of Robert's blends. Rarely do I smoke others. One thing led to another and I'm reading this sad news.
The only connection I had with him was when I lit my pipe. I guess that will last until I,too, light it for the last time.
We shared the same initials>RCR.

just heard of bob's passing.i worked with him in beckley and athens,west virginia.he was brilliant, honorable and worked very hard helping many people. he was very well respected.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Bob's passing this morning. I knew him through the Christopher Morley Pipe Club and enjoyed his company at our meetings.
Always friendly, pleasant and engaging, he freely shared his knowledge with us all.
A great friend and true gentleman, I will miss him.
I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to his family, who I will remember, along with Bob, in prayers.
