I had the pleasur of knowing Bob for years at the news paper I serviced the heating & cooling equepement.worked for Kohl h&c co. Bob will be missed I Thought Of him often. My condolences to the family Jim

I had the pleasure of working very closely with Bob for 6 years at the News Democrat. Moving to Belleville from Michigan, I will always remember how he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable, including having me over to his home for dinner. He was a terrific man and will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to all of Bob's family. I was very blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Bob for 10 years at the News Democrat. I will always remember his joy for life, his love for his family and of course all the jokes I can't repeat.

I always thought of Bob as one of the better men I have known in my life. Always upbeat, demanding at times, but fair. I will miss his sense of humor most, he always had a joke. I'm very sorry for your loss, and I will keep you in my prayers.

My sorrow is shared with family and friends today. Bob will be greatly missed. However, we all can be comforted knowing that his fight was a valiant one and his place in heaven is secure. Paths of people cross many times in our lives and we are only better by having our paths cross with someone like Bob. My friend, until our paths cross again....

To the Sax Family: It's said "There is a time to laugh and a time to cry." We hope that, during these next few days and weeks, you remember the laughs while you cry the tears , and that you feel the grace flowing from all the people that your husband and father touched. We are praying for you!

Our deepest sympathy to the Bob Sax family.
We will always remember Bob as a hard worker and wonderful friend to all those he met. The newspaper business was his life and The Highland News Leader remembers him for everything he did for us to make our publication successful.

Bob was a "one of-a-kind" person. One that when you met him you could never forget him. He was a real person. It was a pleasure working with him.
