Not sure what to say?

Robert was an amazing Uncle who I loved very much! I value everything he taught me growing up and I miss him dearly! He was an amazing Father, husband, Uncle and friend! Sending love to Aunt Jenni and all of the kids and grandkids! Love you all!

To Ewing: I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. I can remember going to Palo Duro Canyon with you, Robert, and your parents MANY years ago. I'm your old college roommate from St. Mary's College. Let me hear from you! Anne Troutman Kelly -- living now in Baton Rouge

I was Robert's Vistage Launch Chair. He always asked great questions and helped his members dig deeper. I did not know much of his religious side until I went to his remembrance. I thought I knew him! Wow.

Ewing, I am so sorry to have learned of your brother's passing. I googled your name today as I have been wanting to connect with you, and I was so sad to know Robert had passed away. I have some fond memories of long ago of visiting you and your family in Texas and traveling to the Santa Fe area. I remember Robert with a big smile on his face and a great sense of humor. So long ago, but seems like "yesterday." Your old roommate from St. Mary's, Anne Troutman Kelly -- now living in Baton...

I met Robert and Jenni at a conference in Texas. The amazing warmth, kindness, and generosity they showed to all those at the gathering was amazing. Over a year since then, I have often thought back upon my time with them, as they have served as an inspiration to me in the kindness we can show strangers. Sending all my prayers and best wishes to the family during this time.

A great man who has impacted so many, heaven has welcomed home another beloved!

I am so sorry for your loss. The pastor at my daddy`s funeral said something that brought a lot of comfort to my broken heart. I share it with you all now, as I hope that it will do the same for you. He said,"As long as you have memories of someone, they never really die." May you all rejoice in the beautiful memories of your beloved Robert.

A cup must be emptied before it can be filled - Robert gave much good to our world, and he is now receiving countless blessings.

Well done done, good and faithful servant.
