Dear Jean and Family,
Sandy and I were shocked to find out that Bob had passed away and are so deeply sorry for your all’s loss. We both have fond memories of you and Bob as a couple and are grateful to Bob for being so instrumental in establishing my NPS career. Working as a student landscape architect for Bob the summer of 1975 literally redirected my professional life and career. He went out of his way to work on my behalf to get me hired for a position on the Parkway in 1976. Bob had...

Bob handed over his road work at Big Bend N P to me most graciously! One of the best jobs I encountered in the DSC. He cast a big shadow in his work with the Feral Highway Administration !

Jean and Family,
Very sorry to hear of the passing of Bob.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I briefly worked for Bob at the Denver Service Center and he gave me the opportunity to work at Blue Ridge Parkway early in my career. Bob passed on to me the values that every Landscape Architect in the NPS needs to learn and I am grateful for the opportunity to have known him.
God bless you,
Mark Pritchett
