Not sure what to say?

Mary & family:
My deepest condolences.
Dr. Schweitzer has been my PhD advisor for the past 9 years-- yes, I'm still working on my dissertation part time. I would not have been able to keep it up if not for Dr. Schweitzer's encouragement and guidance. He is a very dedicated professor, and has made tremendous impact on my academic pursuit. Thank you, Dr. Bob!

I am a former student of the Graduate School of Banking of the South @ LSU. Dr Schweitzer was my favorite instructor while there. Engaging, entertaining and real..he will be missed.

As my heart breaks for a true friend, mentor and father figure for me I would like to offer thoughts and prayers to Mary, Eric and Carolyn for this great loss. I had the pleasure to know him in many different aspects of our lives -- From fixing his computer when I was a student at UD to every sporting event under the sun to Fanfest. I could not have asked for a better role model or friend! He was always there to do things with me and help in any way that he could. There are way too many...

A huge loss for all UD. We never had a business prospect on this campus that Bob did not talk to. He was a GREAT man that always gave back to students, faculty, staff, family and friends. It breaks our heart he is gone. UDVB will always remember Bob.

My deepest condolences to Mary and your family.

Mary and family,
I send my heartfelt condolences.
Love from Libby

Mary, my heart goes out to you. Whenever you spoke of your husband, your love for him came through loud and clear. I will be thinking of you.

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. ~ Jill McLaughlin

Dr. Bob was a consummate teacher and a very warm, generous man. I know how much he has meant to the lacrosse community in Delaware and beyond. We are all saddened by his passing. It says a lot about his character that he put so much time and effort into promoting fairness and sportsmanship in athletics. He will certainly be missed, but his legacy will live on. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this trying time. May God Bless You!
