As an instructor at Aultman College, I feel very blessed to have had Robert in a couple of my lectures and clinicals. He was a respectful young man that took instruction readily to better his performance. I would occasionally gently tease him for dozing in class after working crazy hours. He would grin that big smile and apologize. He had a big heart that was for his patients. He was on his way to become a wonderful nurse. As part of his schooling, Rob shadowed me for a day at Aultman's Compassionate Care Hospice Center. I could tell he was going to make a great RN. He was helpful, kind, and had a great sense of humor. He eagerly jumped in to assist me with my work, and asked great questions. Please know I was greatly impressed by your son and thankful for the time we spent discussing nursing as a profession. I will keep your family in my prayers during this difficult time of adjustment.

I had the pleasure of being one of Rob's instructors in nursing school. My heart is heavy for his family and everyone that cared about him. I know that he is loved greatly and will be missed a lot by his friends and classmates at Aultman College, as well as the faculty that knew him. I wish you strength and hope that you can someday find peace after such a terrible tragedy.
