Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the Shaheen family.

As a young alter boy, I was always proud to say I served at Father Bob's first mass in St. Anthony's. I followed his career from a distance. There were reports of his moving to the Los Angeles area, which I found exciting, but his calling seemed to be in St Louis.

Best prayers and wishes to the Shaheen family....

Michael

sincerest Condolences.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the family Of the Most Rev.Bishop Robert Shaheen. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My condolences to the Shaheen family. Bob and I were classmates at DHS55. Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest sympathy to the Shaheen Family for your loss.

I remember when I met the Bishop when he first came to St. Louis. I was very young and he was presiding over the funeral for my Uncle.

He was warm-hearted and compassionate. Through the years he has remained that
same person in every conversation I had with him. His friendship has been priceless to me and my family.

I was truly blessed to have spoken to
him on Wednesday, August 9th at the Hall. I thanked him...

Our deepest condolences on the loss of a great leader. Without Sayeedna's charisma and persistence, St. Raymond's would probably not have become the parish and cathedral that it is today. Thank you, Sayeedna Shaheen, for your years of service as a parish priest and as bishop. You will be forever remembered.

The Officers and Members of FRIENDS of PRIESTS of Greater St. Louis offer their deepest prayerful sympathy to the Maronite Eparchies of North America, St. Raymond's Maronite Cathedral and the SHAHEEN Family on the passing of BISHOP ROBERT J. SHAHEEN, a legendary Maronite Catholic bishop, priest and community leader of our city here.

During Bishop Shaheen's many years of priestly ministry in metro St. Louis, he was pivotal in the systematic resurgence of St. Raymond's Maronite Parish...

Rest in peace and thank you for all you have done and will continue to do. I was a teenager when he came and am now a lot older. No one compares or will ever replace him. One in a million.
