I have many fond memories of Bob through the years, and I was so sorry to hear of his passing. One that comes to me tonight was his careful instruction to me as I clambered out of my boat anchored offshore and into a cedar strip canoe Bob was sitting in, waiting to ferry me to shore on Sinclair Island.
