Eileen and Max, My heart goes out to you at this time of great loss. Bob made my day happier every day we talked at work. I remember all those days, happy hours, your wedding, Max's birth. Mr.Spangler was one of the best teachers I ever had! My father died when I was 15, the day I came back to school, he sat me down and had along talk with me, that talk changed my life. I always remembered him as being the best!! My send my Prayers and Blessings to his entire family. He made a difference! May God shower you with his presence.

To the Spangler Family. I had Mr.Spangler at HAHS. He was a great teacher . I will always remember when I went on the class trip to WASHINGTON I've learned a lot from Bob . Thinking of you all during this difficult time hugs. VERY sad . .

Mr. Spangler was a great teacher and a very nice guy! Prayers to his family!

When I was in junior high, Mr. Spangler was one of my favorite teachers. Years later when I came back to Hamburg to teach, he was a friend and mentor. I will always remember his great sense of humor, kindness, and love of the profession. God bless his family; you're in our prayers. (He's probably up in heaven right now causing trouble with Mr. Ketch.)

I was saddened to read of Mr. Spangler's passing. I was one of his students at HAHS. My deepest sympathies to the entire Spangler family.
