Dear Stange Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of "Ike". Others have made reference to the many things he did for the community while an executive with Pepsi. One of the many was his support of the Fort Wayne Pepsi Komets prior to the team becoming a true junior team. Prior to that it was designated [then] as US Intermediate Open which meant the minimum age to play was 16 without any upper age. I played on that team from 1964-1968 and Ike was our biggest supporter. Not only with sponsership money but with arranging for us to have a team bus, providing team supplies, conducting a team banquet every year and many more. He will be missed and mourned by many. Ike was one of the good guys and I was proud to know him.

Dear Family, Uncle Ike my favorite will be missed. When we were young he always told us boys to behave because he had a dress in the trunk and he would put it on us if we didn't behave(he really did have a dress in the trunk). He could tell jokes for hours and never tell the same one twice. We have lost a wonderful man and war hero.

Dear Family, Uncle Ike will be missed by all. I will never forget the great times we had fishing the Kenai here in Alaska. It was a pleasure to have him visit us every July. He kept us entertained with his stories and tales. We have all lost a great friend and dear relative.

Dear Family
Ike and I had great times during our RKO Pepsi years together. Ike had a great sense of humor (although some of his jokes could stand improvement).
He was honest, forthright and did a lot of good things over the years for the Ft. Wayne community. Ike, you'll be missed.
Kindest regards,
