Robert: Of course We have never met, however; Bob SR. and Nancy & MY Joan {who passed on five months ago) and I were dear friends for many years. I was also a veteran of the 345th Bomb Squadron and Historian of the 98th Bomb Group. How sad it is for me to learn of BOB SR. passing and NOW I learn that he lost you just a few months ago. I was Bob's paralegal 20+ years ago in Lodi. He was a genuine person whose passion and zest for life was contagious. Bob was meticulous in his work, but what I will remember most is the pride and love he had for his family. May you find comfort in each other and in your cherished memories. Rest easy, RBS.

Several flying adventures to Baja, with a outboard motor and blowup boat in the seat between us...blowing up the boat, then out to sea bouncing thru the waves, we were going to catch a fish so "Big" we would have to jump overboard holding on to the side of the blowup, to create drag, (no gaff allowed with good reason), the islands, flying home with skin that looked like leather.....and always, always with his happy voice smiling.
