Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I would have attended the funeral but just found out. Bob and my dad, Todd Panse, were good friends for a very long time. My dad also struggled with Alheimer's and Bob was one of the few people that regularly stopped by and took my dad out. One of my best memories of Bob was on his 2nd wind from Atlantic City to Lake Erie. Suds was onboard too and made his famous chili. Sending good thoughts to your family from mine. May they both be in a better...

To the Family of Bob Sumney:

Even thou I never got to meet any of Bob's Family. My late Husband Jim and I had a special connection with Bob's Mom, (Char) and his Dad, (Suds) who guided him through his life. We were involved thru WMU sports and got to know your Dad thru them. We always enjoyed meeting up with him for some conversation. My many memories and prayers are with you all!

Bob our friendship began in kindergarten and has lasted a lifetime, thanks for a great ride, you have gone on ahead and one day we will reunite, then "get a couple of cold ones" and " deal em damit it deal em" until then behave and keep outta trouble Buddy !

Bob,
As the oldest Cook cousin, I think we all looked up to you and your Mom Char and Dad Suds. My Mother Dorothy loved you dearly. Know that you are with our departed Cook relatives. God's Peace to Stacey and Tamara.

My family and I are so saddened by Bob's passing. We were fortunate to get to know Bob during his stay at Vibrant Life. My mom Pat was also a resident and they developed a special bond almost immediately upon meeting. They shared many meals together, time watching TV in Bob's room and countless outings . Bob was always very protective of my mom and would often share with me his concern over her not eating enough. They had a very sweet, endearing bond and were always laughing and joking with...

I´m so sorry to hear of your dad´s passing. He was a good guy-welcoming and funny. Sending much love and peace to you, Stacey and Tami.

To the Sumney Family - I have so many fun memories of our childhood at your house. Your dad was so generous with his love and laughter and I am so honored to of been able to experience it. He helped me with my own struggle of losing my dad before I was born. Sending hugs and happy memories!

Am saddened to hear of Bob's passing. My dad Vaughn often shared stories of the harrowing escapades he shared with Bob. Bob also reached out regularly to Dad as he was going through his battle with cancer. A good cousin/friend for sure.

I know he will be missed. Definitely one of the good guys.

Semper fidelis my friend
