Robert Sutton

I just came across this last night. I met Bob at the American National Academy of Performing arts when about 46 years ago. I was in Francis Lederer's Acting class-- Bob was a long-time student there and he also taught Acting there as well. I was so happy when he got married to Louise--He seemed so happy. We lost touch, I was unable to reach him for many years and we missed having him at our various events at the school. When Dorothy Barrett passed in March of 2018, I tried to reach him again...

I just heard of Bob's passing this evening. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I so enjoyed knowing him and performing scenes with him in our acting class. He was such a wonderful person and actor. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to Bob's family and friends on his passing. Yeah, he had a tough guy look that served him well, as an actor, but he was a gentle soul. A good man that I got to know years ago, while working at The Hollywood YMCA. Always enjoyed our conversations and on occasion playing a game of racquetball (although handball was truly his sport) Great competitor, he was. Rest In Peace, Bobby...
