What a wonderful barber and friend he was. Bob cut my hair from the time he began at the VA until his retirement. His recipe for Christmas fudge was legendary. He always spoke lovingly of his wife and children. Bob brought me a small olive wood cross he picked up in Israel which will remind me of him. God speed.

Loved taking my husband to the VA for the best Hair /beard cut ever. Always good conversation. Such a kind, godly man.

Bob and my dad, Jack Andrews, were good friends. When I moved back to Lincoln after getting out of the Navy, I went to get a haircut from Bob. He gave it to me for free. He was a good man.

barber Bob, I would tip you a golf ball after each hair cut. You also would say " your time is up ,even though you had not finished the hair cut. Thank you for sending me a Birthday card each year. rest,in peace. you have earned it.

You and I asked Jesus into our lives in July, 1973. I remember it well. You were 48; I was 17. You are home with the love of your life and your Savior who you served well. You will be missed by so many. Well done, good and faithful servant.
