Bob's contributions to our County and its citizens deserve both recognition and praise. In his political years he was a force of reason and balance, never losing sight of the responsibilities that election confers. In his other community activities he touched many lives in positive ways for which he never received all the recognition he -- and Loretta for her steadfast partnership - deserved. He will be missed, but remembered by those of us privileged to have known and worked with him.

Loretta,

I hope you and your family will find comfort in your memories of Bob.
I was a young Volusia County Firefighter/Paramedic when I meet Councilman Tuttle, he helped me immensely when I became President of the Firefighters Assoc. and gave me some good advise on how to navigate the channels of politics and County Government. I have a personal letter framed that still hangs in my home office that he wrote to me after I was involved in a career ending accident in 1997. He was definitely one of the good guys.
