Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss and I'm sorry I cannot join you there. Uncle Bob was a patriot and hero and served our country with honor. I know he is now enjoying the presence of our Lord and reuniting with friends and family, including my mom/his sister, Willie Mae. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Charlotte and Paula, thinking about you during this time, just got news of Bob's passing. Remembering his (and yours!!) goodness to me throughout many years. Thankful that I knew him then and praying for you the peace that passes all understanding....

Dearest Family God has blessed me with by ways of His goodness. Charlotte you are light to my heart. I don't know that I've met your Bob but having met you and Paula I know he was an incredible man. Home is on the mind of those who have loved ones waiting them there in Heaven. We'll one day get our escort to eternity. I pray each of you the embrace of comfort only the Lord Jesus gives us in our grief. Emmanuel the Name above all names "JESUS" HE IS WITH US. Understanding is not our...

Bob officiated at our wedding in May, 1974. His wife, Doris, died about 6 weeks later. He was passionate about sharing the love of Christ while serving as a fill-in pastor at Marcus UMC. His impact on many lives will be felt for years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am sorry to hear of Bob's death. He was our pastor at Marcus Methodist Church during the late l950's. He worked with my dad, Fred Wright, as a carpenter while he was pastoring our church. He spent many hours in our home. Our family thought highly of him and we will not forget his friendship. May God comfort your family.

Charlotte and family We are so sorry for the loss of Bob. We Pray for confront and Peace during this time of distress for you and the family. May each of you feel the Lord's comfort and Love at this time.Your friends and members of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 3, Spartanburg SC. Charlotte Gillespie, Commander.

A wonderful man and a great friend. Now singing in the Heavenly Choir. Thanks for all your mentoring.

What an honor to have known Dr. Bob even for a brief time and have realized his humility, kindness and to have had the honor of thanking him for his service to our country and for my protection. Blessings to Ross, Miss Charlotte and his entire family during this sad time. Looking forward to seeing him again in our Heavenly home to thank him once again.

Rev Mike and family, our prayers for you and your family.
