Bob Walsh is one of the finest gentlemen I have ever met and will miss him dearly. I was fortunate to meet Bob about 11+ years ago at a Trout Unlimited meeting where I discovered he was fine fly tyer, fly fisher and bamboo fly rod maker. Always wanting to learn how to make a bamboo fly rod from scratch he offered to teach me for a fee... a ham & cheese sandwich lunch each time we met at his workshop!
