Robert Westbrook Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Kingsland Community Church in Kingsland, the Rev. Tommy Beck officiating. Interment to follow in Lakeland Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Kingsland.
Mr. Westbrook's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Nash, David Nash, Hollis Nash, Jimmy Cook and John Birdsong.
Memorials: May be made to Hospice of South Texas, 605 E. Locust, Victoria, Texas 77901.
Robert was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Fort Worth to the late John and Belle Westbrook. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he received the Purple Heart. He was a master Mason for 50 years with Lodge #1114 AF&AM, and worked in the auto parts industry for many years as a distributor.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Paradise Oaks and Hospice of South Texas, Armando Diaz and Dr. Fabian Espinoza.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Westbrook was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jeanne S. Westbrook; brothers, Sam Westbrook, John Rogers Westbrook; and sisters, Louise Birdsong and Inez Nash.
Survivors: His sons, Robert R. Westbrook Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Victoria, Larry R. Westbrook and his wife, Donna, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Robert Westbrook, Donald Westbrook, Matthew Westbrook, Charlotte Westbrook, Haley Oliver, Kyle Oliver; great-granddaughter, Zoe Westbrook; Carolyn Westbrook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
