My heart goes out to Donna and all of those who are directly affected by the loss of this kind and loving man. I knew Robin from our high school years, and we had a very deep "first love" experience that has lasted in my heart. He was so wonderful to talk with, about anything and everything. I'm so sorry to hear about Robin's death. I remember Robin when he was an early teenager in Hollywood Florida. He was the younger brother of Charles and his sister Heidi. May you rest in peace

I met Robin in 1988, when he was patrolling the lot behind the Flying Tomato to prevent students from using the business parking spaces. At that time, he was living in an old and very small 1 room apartment that was crammed floor to ceiling with his life's belongings. He used a long dowel rod to change channels on his TV because he didn't have a remote. He had a lot of ingenuity and crafted a lot of practical solutions. When he was about to leave, he said he was sorry he had to leave us. I wasn't sure what he meant. Now I do. I think we all do. All of us who knew him and loved him. Now we understand what he meant.
