Not sure what to say?

Only days ago did my sister Judy and I learn of this great loss. Rod was Daddy's best friend and we are saddened that they are now both gone but we celebrate that they are together in God's kingdom working/laughing/playing together once again. May all the fond memories bring a sense of joy to you Betty and the family...and may the love of our Lord and Savior begin to heal your heavy hearts. We understand your pain.
Much Love, Amy and Judy

David, I enjoyed reading about the great father that you had. I too have recently lost a parent - please know that I will be remembering you and your family during this hard time. Former Quail Hollow teacher/coach.

I am very sorry to learn of your loss. May God help to comfort you through this difficult time.If there is anything I can do, please call me.

We only today learned of the loss of Mr. Scattergood. He was always so kind and gracious, as were the entire crew when we visited at the lake with David and got to know all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Dan and Shirley Jakeman

Suzy,
I am sorry for your loss. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

David,
I was so sorry to learn of your father's death. I remember him fondly from our visits to the lake. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family.

Hi Betty, I worked many years with Rod at Henley Paper Co. He was the finest mill rep. I ever worked with. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Dear David: I was saddened to read of your father's death, then the human interest story in the paper today. What a great father he must have been. I will be thinking of you and your family in the sad days ahead.

I worked with Rod during his last year at 3M. What a great guy he was.
