Not sure what to say?

Dear Reedi and Roderick, I have so many wonderful memories of our two families growing up. When I was a child, your parents were among a small handful of adults that I was allowed to call by first name. Your mother and mine were soul mates and best friends for decades. Fast forward to later years, and my mother saw your dad as a trusted source of advice. We miss them all.

We want to you to realize how truly sorry we are about your father's passing. We had the great honor to know both your parents - they were not only our neighbors, but our friends. It was wonderful having them in our lives. We will always remember them fondly.

May God rest his soul. Rod was one of the most caring, warm, smart and not to mention, one of the funniest men I've ever had the honor of knowing. He will be greatly missed, as the beautiful Flo has been these past few years. They are together again at last.

To Rod's family,
Please know that you are all in our prayers. Rod was such a special person. We are so very sorry for your loss, but know that he is with the love of his life. Much love to you all. With sincere condolences,

Rod Shaw was a respected professional friend from the time that I began practicing law in 1962. My sincere sympathy is offered to his family and the members of his law firm. John McQuigg
