Not sure what to say?

To my friend, Rod. I will miss you so much. I will our phone calls. You are the most thoughtful person that I have ever met. The kids in Syracuse will miss getting quarters from their "Grandpa Rod" at the Syracuse baseball games. You treated my girls with such kindness and love. There will always be a special place for you in my heart. You are the apple of Ben's eye. We are all better people for knowing Rod Steele. May God Bless Rod's family.

Vicki and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Rod. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We have some wonderful memories of our days at the Corps of Engineers.

Rod was so devoted to his family. He was truly one of a kind. I will always admire the way he cherished Kristen. He was a wonderful grandfather. Your family was blessed to have him. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

What struck me about Rod was that he was genuinely interested in people. He could strike up a conversation with a stranger on the street, and 10 minutes later they were friends. His friendliness was never fake. He was the real deal. We will miss him. Our prayers are with Vickie and the Steele family.

Vickie and the boys and their families...my prayers are with you at this time, Rod always treated me with respect and love that it was not hard to feel the same way back to him. Always so proud of those sons of his, anytime I saw him he would always brag about all the wonderful things you were doing. And when ever I would see him at the pool he would always show off one of the grandchildren. What a wonderful man that was such a joy to know. Hopefully I will see you all over the next few days,...

Vickie and Family, I was deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Rod was a wonderful man, he will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. May you find comfort in knowing that he is with his Heavenly Father. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.

Rod, you will be missed. I always enjoyed waiting on you in the pharmacy.
Vickie, I hope you know that you are in my prayers and thoughts.

Vicki and Family, I am so sorry to read of Rod's passing. I remember the happy go lucky fellow who used to stop in at the Corps payroll office. You will all be remembered in my prayers.

Words can't express how sorry I was to hear that Rod had passed away. I will always remember going to his football practices and coming over to the house while Chris and I were growing up. May god bless you Vicki,Chris,Jim and Matt and watch over all of you and the rest of your family.
