Our Homecoming King!

Rodney and I where homecoming king and queen in 1979. After being crowned that night we rode around the track on the top of a highly polished red corvette. The car was slick and we had been dressed in long slippery capes. I started to slip right off the top of the car Rodney grabbed me and saved me from sliding off the car! I remember Rodney getting a standing ovation for his heroic action! We sure had fun that night. Thank’s to all our friends for making that night so special for Rodney...

Rodney was and will always be one of my very best friends. The very first night that we met, I knew that I already knew this man even though we had never met before. We had that kind of a connection. It's rare and usually only happens once in your lifetime and that's if you are lucky enough to find it. I treasure the time I spent with him and I learned volumes from him. I will miss him EVERY day of my life.May the good Lord keep you safe until we meet again, Babe.

I had just heard the news of his passing. So sorry for his families loss. From time to time we would bump into eachother and it was always as if we were never apart. What a great friend and Athlete he was. His family has alot to be proud of. I know. my follow MVT's look forward to seeing him again on the other side.
"Till we meet" my friend.

To my cousins the Brewer Family. May God see you though this. From the Flemons Family.

We are so sorry for your loss. We pray that God "surround and comfort" Rodney's family and friends during this time of sorrow. Ps. 71:21

I was a fellow student of Rodney's at Mountain View. Just received info via school website. He was a wonderful person then and I am sure he was throughout his life. God Bless all who were left behind.

To the Brewer Family I did not know Rodney i'm sadden anytime the world loses an earthly angle. God called him home not to make you sad but he need his presence in heaven. In reading all the wonderful comments about him i know he was very special to alot of people. Hold onto your memories and love for Rodney and it will see you through the rough times.
