Bill and Jean O'Quinn from Tuscaloosa, Alabama send our heartfelt sympathy to all of Roger's family and friends. We used to hangout back in old days (1975-1979) riding harleys, hanging out at Tire Town and partying with Roger. He was kindhearted, soft-spoken, loyal friend. Always willing to help anyway he could. May he rest in peace. Our prayers are with you all.

I just heard of Roger's passing. I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones. I met Roger in 1977 and he was one of the best friends a person could have. Rest in peace, Bro.

AFTER RETURNING FROM A TWO WEEK TRIP WE WERE SADDENED TO HEAR THAT ROGER HAD PASSED AWAY. OUR HEART FELT SYMPATHIES TO THE FAMILY OF ROGER. WE HAVE NOT IN OUR ENTIRE LIFE MET A GENTLEMAN GREATER THAN ROGER. HIS HONESTY AND COURTESY AS A BUSINESS MAN WILL NEVER BE EXCEDED. OUR BUSINESS WITH NORTHGATE TIRE WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE BECAUSE OF HIM. HIS MEMORY WILL LAST WITH US FOREVER.

God bless you Roger, you were a friend to us . You always went above and beyond at Northgate and as a friend . Thank you seems so little but we will remember you always. We should all have such a kind and giving heart. Thank you Roger. Your friends, Brier & Connie Potter

We are deeply saddened by the news Roger has passed on. Our company has been dealing with Northgate Tire for many years, and it was always a pleasant experience dealing with Roger. A lot of us consider Roger not only a business acquaintance, but a friend. he was a wonderful man, and we will truly miss him. God bless you Roger.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Roger for the better part of the last 15 yrs. You would be hard pressed to find a kinder, more honest guy. At Northgate it was never about the price or the tires, but more about the man behind the tires. Roger always told it like it was, shot you straight, and was more than fair. You can never put a price tag on that. It has been a honor to know him, and consider him as my friend. I'm sure many people share these thoughts. Roger, we raise a glass to you. You...

The care and true concern in Roger's voice almost said it all. For many years Roger exhibited the character that only a few are able to find. He made me and my Family-Mom,Dad,Wife, and children-feel secure and safe through his honest and caring nature. Roger will be missed, but thought of often. I send prayers of comfort to his family. Thank you Roger, for being the man that was just a phone call away.

Roger will be deeply missed. He was a wonderful person with a big heart.
