Not sure what to say?

Roger and Carol were good friends and colleagues from Niger. Roger was a knowledgeable ag economist and a good softball player. He was easy to be around, and he and Carol were valuable members of the Niamey community. He will be missed. Lyn and Jim

A good friend and colleague for many years, may he rest in peace.

Roger was one of the people who first welcomed me to Michigan State University in the late 1970s, making it seem more welcoming knowing there were other people with experiences similar to mine (West Africa, Peace Corps) attending. Of course, Roger's work eventually took him to both those spots and to plenty of other locales he had dreamed...

On behalf of the Peace Corps community, our most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Roger. We are grateful for his service as a Peace Corps Volunteer and his lifetime commitment to humanitarian assistance, knowing that he made a positive difference in the lives of many people around the world.
