Not sure what to say?

Dear Carlson families, Jane and I feel your loss and sadness. Know he is promised in death to life eternal. He always had a smile, a story. He will be missed.

Every time I went to Walmart I saw that smiling face of Roger. And thru the years we would have short conversations. Truly a special man. Not many will be missed as he will be. R.Lundahl

Dearest Dad--you were my "first thought" as I awakened this morning . . . and a good thought, indeed. Spending time with family and friends yesterday as we honored your life and celebrated your home-going has only helped to make me want to be more like my dad. When I was a little girl, you'd hold my hand as we walked from our parked car to the store--I always had to practically run to keep up with you. I feel like I'm doing that now--your legacy is like that big strong hand of yours around...

Dearest Roger, It was a great honor to be welcomed into your family almost 19 years ago. You and your dear Alice are quite simply, extraordinary people. I am again thanking you for raising an incredible man for me to marry. As I saw in your home--both on the wall hanging, and so much in your lives, "Children grow up to be the love they have known." All your children demonstrate your wonderful, godly example, and are now passing on this legacy of love to their children and beyond. Thank you...

My dad was truly a gift from the Lord! I was privileged to call him dad! I am privileged to have spent so much time with this great man! Dad was a Christian who truly lived a Christlike life loving people! My heart hurts tonight knowing I won't be able to sit with him, hold his hand, look into his eyes, hug him, receive his love back and to say "dad I love you". I'll see you again in heaven! Love from your son!

Dear Carlson Family,

Sending our deepest heartfelt sympathy to all Roger's loved ones. He was a kind man with a heart of gold. When he greeted us at church he made everyone of us feel so welcomed.

God bless,

What a nice man Roger was, so friendly and kind hearted. He was so proud of his family and his lovely wife Alice.

So very very sorry for his passing. BUT we know he went on to GLORY. Continuing to pray for all of you. We love you all.
