Sandi, I just learned of Roger's passing. He was such a kind man. I remember you both being there when my grandmother, Doshia Wright, passed away. My mother Betty was Roger's first cousin.
I remember going to Aunt Lucille's as a child and Roger was always very kind to me, his pesky little second cousin. My sympathies to you and your family.

Jennifer and I are better people for having known Roger. We will miss him. He had a beautiful service Friday. Cliff's eulogy was outstanding. Roger will live on in the lives that he touched.

We have many good memories of the Lucille and Odus Cash family attending Calvary Baptist church in Shelby, N. C. in the 1950's.
They were a christian family and good role models to all.
Roger played on the R. A. baseball team and enjoyed it very much.

Evelyn and I ran across Roger at the CVS on Long Beach road when we to Oak Island in 2004...Can't remember how the conversation got started but needless to say a good friendship was started due to Shelby connections. I was so sad to read of the passing of Roger Cash. I had been their petsitter for many years as well as their friend and can say I have not met a kinder man, a gentler soul. He and Sandi had such a beautiful, christian relationship and you could feel the peace and love in their home. He has been reunited with his beautiful Lucy and I have no doubt she was there to welcome him into his glorious new home. Sandi, I love you and am here if you need me. Anne

Our prayers are with all you. Roger was a dear friend and with the rest of the Cash family was so much part of our lives for the fifteen years we lived next to each other on Forest Brook Drive. Whether we were staring a fire in the back yard on 4th of July, watching the children at T-Ball, or in the field behind our houses, we remember Rodger's kindnesses. He was our neighborhood pharmacist helping us with all manner of health and wellness issues. We watch each others children grow, climb trees, make forts and club houses and safely navigate bikes and skateboards in the neighborhood. Our deepest sympathies to Sandy, Jada, Wiley and Cliff from all the Munn's. We were so blessed to be your next door neighbors and know the wonderful family you are. We will miss our special friend Roger - your Husband and Dad.

I first met Roger in fifth grade ; we were classmates through junior high and high school ( SHS class of '62 ). I remember him as being a person who enjoyed living his life to the fullest, but, most of all, I remember him as a good friend. Thoughts and prayers to his family as they deal with the loss of a husband and a dad.
